Clinical Instructor
Dr. Sandra Elias is a clinical instructor of medicine at the Lebanese American University (LAU) Gilbert and Rose-Marie Chagoury School of Medicine in the department of Anesthesiology.
Dr. Elias earned her medical degree from the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik School of Medicine in 2012 and completed her residency in Anesthesiology at the American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC). Following her graduation in 2016, she joined the department of anesthesiology at Institut Gustave Roussy Cancer Campus Grand Paris in France for a one-year subspecialty in difficult airway management, and anesthetic management of oncologic surgeries, including awake fiberoptic intubations, jet ventilation. After that, she went on to pursue a university diploma in locoregional anesthesia in 2017 from Sorbonne University-Paris and a university diploma in “simulation technique for medical education” from Descartes University - Paris in 2018. In 2020, Dr. Elias joined the Centre Hospitalier Intercommunal André Grégoire - Paris for obstetrical anesthesia subspecialty.
