Clinical Instructor
Dr. Samantha Sukkar is a Clinical Instructor of Medicine at the Lebanese American University Gilbert and Rose-Marie Chagoury School of Medicine and an Attending Physician at the department of Anesthesiology at the Lebanese American University Medical Center.
Dr. Sukkar earned her Medical Degree and completed her residency training at the Lebanese American University where she graduated in 2021.
Later in 2021, Dr. Sukkar joined the Anesthesiology department at Hôpital Cochin - Port Royal in Paris when she had a focused training in Obstetrics and Regional Anesthesiology. She then obtained a “Diplôme de Formation Médicale Spécialisée” in Anesthesiology from Université Paris Cité in 2022.
She also holds a University Diploma in Pain Management & Palliative Care from Université Paris-Est Créteil and a Clinical Simulation Diploma from Université Paris Saclay. She is currently finishing her 2-year fellowship in Chronic Pain Management at Université Paris Cité.
She is a member of the European Society of Regional Anesthesia & Pain Therapy (ESRA).
Dr. Sukkar is extremely involved in teaching students and residents. She is appointed as Site Director for the LAU residency program of Anesthesiology at the LAUMC-Saint John’s Hospital.
