Account Information
About your account
We will provide you with an estimate of hospital expenses prior to your admission.
Please bear in mind that this is an estimate only, and that your doctor may have to perform different or additional procedures during your stay which may affect the final cost.
It is important to be aware that some services and costs may not be covered by your health insurance, especially if your treatment is likely to involve allied health care, such as physiotherapy and pharmacy. We recommend that you talk to your private health fund prior to admission so that you are fully aware of your entitlements and any out-of pocket expenses for hospital or medical care.
If you are uninsured (private), you will need to pay an estimate of the total account in advance on admission and any balance owing on discharge.
If you do your pre-op exams 24 hours or 48 hours before the surgery and even if you are insured, you will need to pay a deposit at the main cashier for hospital guarantee. Your money will be returned in the discharge process.
Settling the account
You will be required to settle your account prior to leaving the Hospital at Main Cashier on Ground Floor Main Entrance. We accept payment by cash, check, and credit cards.
When you receive the discharge sheet, you are requested to leave your room at 12.00 pm.
N.B: The one day surgery patients should know that they need a minimum of 6 hours from the time of admission to discharge. Even it is a local anesthesia; we have to make sure that the discharge criteria are respected.
