Clinical Assistant Professor
Dr. Saade is an Assistant Professor at the LAU Gilbert and Rose-Marie Chagoury School of Medicine.
Dr. Saade graduated in 2008 from the American University of Beirut, School of Medicine and completed an Internship in Surgery followed by a Residency in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery (AUBMC 2013). He then pursued a very sought after 2-year Fellowship in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Houston TX, USA.
Dr. Saade’s subspecialty is focused on Head and Neck Surgery for Malignant and Benign tumors of the Oral cavity, Pharynx, Larynx, Sinonasal cavity, Anterior Skull base, Salivary Gland /Endocrine and Skin. His Surgical and research interests revolve around applications of new technologies, minimally invasive endoscopic, laser and robotic surgery to optimize Functional Outcomes.
Dr. Saade’s expertise also encompasses Airway Management, Thyroplasty, Microlaryngeal surgery, Soft tissue rearrangement and pedicled Flap Reconstruction, Facial Plastic, Sleep Apnea Surgery, Laryngology, Pediatric otolaryngology, Rhinology / Endoscopic Sinus Surgery and Otology.
Dr. Saade lectured in regional and international conferences. He authored several original articles in peer-reviewed journals and book chapters in the _eld of Head and Neck Cancer.
Dr. Saade joined LAU Medical Center-Rizk Hospital in 2016 and LAU Medical Center-Saint John’s in 202. Along with his clinical and surgical responsibilities he is actively involved in the academic and administrative development of the ENT Head and Neck department.
